Truck tonnage in December rose a seasonally adjusted 1.4% compared with the same month in 2020 — the fourth consecutive year-over-year gain and the highest measurement since March, American Trucking Associations announced.
The ATA For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index, released Jan. 18, equaled 114.7 in December, a 1% gain over November.

BISMARCK, N.D. — The North Dakota Department of Transportation is developing the State Freight & Rail Plan and has launched the project website. This plan will assess all freight modes, identify needs and issues, provide recommendations, guide the advancement of the multimodal transportation system and serve as a road map for future investment.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is conducting a study regarding freight movement in the city of Willcox.
